QRSS Introduction
QRSS - or very slow cw.....
Always wanting to experiment, I decided after quite some reading that it would be interesting building a QRSS beacon. 30m seemed to be the best choice. With an impending visit to Italy coming up, I put the wheels in motion and decided to purchase a kit from Kanga Products. The cost including P&P was so low, it wasn't worth getting out my etching fluid or hunting around the junk box.
Built in one night, tested and put on the air, I have now approx 100mw on 10140khz. This feeds into my standard 40m dipole. The enclosure used is not the standard 'mint' tin but a famous 'whiskey' tin. Lets keep things green and recycle!
